Section 412 - Qualification as tourist attraction A licensed limited winery, as defined in the act of April 12, 1951 (P.L. 90, No. 21), known as the Liquor Code, shall be deemed a "tourist attraction" for the purposes of this act if it meets all of the following criteria:
(1) It is open to the public for tours, tasting and sales a minimum of 1,500 hours per year.(2) It provides an educational format to inform winery visitors about wine and wine processing.(3) It maintains producing vineyards in this Commonwealth of a minimum of five acres or 3,000 vines, either owned or managed.(4) It maintains a wine-producing facility in this Commonwealth, either owned or leased.1994, Oct. 13, P.L. 613, No. 94, § 2, effective in 60 days.
