Section 6021 - Successors in office of treasurer to sell lands unsold

Whenever any unseated lands shall have been duly advertised for sale by the county treasurer, in any of the counties of this commonwealth, under and by virtue of the directions of the act of March thirteenth, 1815, and the several supplements thereto, at the regular biennial sales, and shall remain unsold at and after the expiration of the term of office of the treasurer who advertised the same for sale, and when the treasurer so advertising the same shall have absconded, it shall be the duty of the successor in office of such treasurer to advertise and sell the lands so remaining unsold, on the second Monday of June of the year intervening between the said regular sales.
