Whenever the taxes, penalties or interest imposed by this act are not paid, and no petition for reassessment thereof has been filed, or if such taxes, interest and penalties are not paid after all appeals have finally been disposed of, the department shall call upon the Department of Justice to collect the same in like manner as is provided by law for the collection of other Commonwealth taxes.
