Section 1738-H - Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance AgencyThe following shall apply to appropriations for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency:
(1) The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency shall enter into an agreement with the Department of Health to transfer up to $4,550,000 from the Higher Education Assistance Fund to the Department of Health for the purposes set forth in chapter 13 of the act of December 2, 1992 ( P.L. 741, No.113), known as the Children's Health Care Act.(2) The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency shall allocate $500,000 from the Higher Education Assistance Fund for the Cheyney University Keystone Academy.(3) From funds appropriated for payment of education assistance grants, the amount of $500,000 shall be allocated to a state-owned university located in Tioga County for merit scholarships.Added by P.L.
