Section 1853 - Commission to replace monuments

As soon as practicable after the passage of this act it shall be the duty of the governor to appoint three persons to be a commission to act in conjunction with a similar commission of the state of New York, to examine as to the true location of the monuments which mark the boundary line between this state and the state of New York, and in connection with said commission of the state of New York, to replace any monuments which have become dilapidated or been removed on the boundary lines of said states.
