Section 1701 - Appropriation from State Stores Fund; repaymentThe sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000), or so much thereof as shall be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Treasury Department, out of the moneys in The State Stores Fund which represent net profits from the operation of Pennsylvania Liquor Stores, to be repaid to the Federal agency which shall have made any grant hereinabove mentioned, as follows:
(a) On June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-four, one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement, together with interest on the entire advancement to that date.(b) On June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five, one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement, together with interest on the balance of the advancement remaining unpaid on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-four.(c) On June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five, the entire unpaid balance of the advancement: Provided, however, That this payment of the entire remaining unpaid balance need not be paid if, prior to June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five, the General Assembly shall have made, and the Governor shall have approved, an appropriation providing for the payment of one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-six, together with interest on all unpaid balances, one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-seven, together with interest on all unpaid balances, and also payment on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-seven, of the entire balance of the advancement then remaining unpaid, subject to the condition, however, that the last mentioned payment of the entire balance need not be paid on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-seven, if, prior to that date, the General Assembly shall have passed, and the Governor shall have so approved, a similar act providing for payments of one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-eight, and on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-nine, respectively, with interest as above, and also for full payment of the entire unpaid balance on June first, one thousand nine hundred thirty-nine, unless the General Assembly of one thousand nine hundred thirty-nine shall have prior thereto made provision for similar payments on account in one thousand nine hundred forty and one thousand nine hundred forty-one, and for similarly conditioned payment of the entire unpaid balance on June first, one thousand nine hundred forty-one, and so onward until the full amount of the advancement and interest shall have been repaid. It is the intention of this act that during each biennium repayment of one-thirtieth (1/30) of the advancement, with interest on unpaid balances, each year during the succeeding biennium shall be provided for absolutely, and that appropriation shall be made for the full payment of the entire unpaid balance, with interest, at the end of the next biennium unless prior thereto similar provision for absolute payment of installments and conditional provision for payment of the unpaid balance shall be made for the succeeding biennium.
