The sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated from the General Fund to the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1967 for the payment of the expenses of the members of the committee, for the compensation and expenses of the secretary and other appointees of the committee, for postage, supplies, telephone, telegraph, rent and miscellaneous expenses, and generally for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this act.
