Section 1565.4 - Fund money, appropriation, availability; premises; utility lines, controls, meters, etc
(a) The moneys which may be from time to time in The State Restaurant Fund are hereby specifically appropriated and made available to the Department of Property and Supplies to carry out the provisions of this act; for kitchen and dining room equipment and furnishings and their replacement when necessary; for replacements as they become necessary for the purchase of food, refreshments, supplies, materials and motor vehicles; for the payment of wages and salaries of employes and officers, premiums on workmen's compensation, liability and other necessary insurance and surety bonds for such employes and officers as may be charged with the handling of funds, and for any other expenses necessary to carry out the purpose of this act.
(b) The premises to be occupied by restaurants established and operated pursuant to this act shall be provided by the Commonwealth, rent free with all utilities including light, heat, electricity, gas, water, steam, trash and garbage removal and air conditioning. Renovation to the premises, periodic painting, annual housecleaning and maintenance of utility lines, controls, meters, etc., leading to food service equipment shall be provided by the Commonwealth by means other than The State Restaurant Fund.
