The Department of Property and Supplies shall, before the next session of the General Assembly, provide and have installed in the State Capitol building proper appliances to provide for the efficient air conditioning of said Capitol building, and particularly of the Halls of the Senate and House of Representatives during sessions of the General Assembly, and the regulation of temperatures therein.
The sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Department of Property and Supplies for the purpose of providing and installing the appliances provided for by this act.
