Section 307-6a - Collections by Attorney General.
(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, whenever the Attorney General exercises the Attorney General's powers under section 204(c) of the act of October 15, 1980 ( P.L. 950, No.164), known as the Commonwealth Attorneys Act, to collect, by suit or otherwise, the debts, taxes and accounts due the Commonwealth that are referred to and placed with the Attorney General for collection by any Commonwealth agency, no more than twenty-five per centum (25%) of each amount collected shall be deposited in a restricted account within the General Fund known as the Collection Administration Account. No more than two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) per fiscal year may be deposited into the restricted account under this section.
(b) Money in the Collection Administration Account is appropriated to the Office of Attorney General. The Attorney General shall submit to the Governor an estimate of the amount of money to be expended from the Collection Administration Account during the next fiscal year as part of the Attorney General's annual budget request to the Governor.
