Section 148 - Mine inspectors (Adm. Code Section 438)

There shall be as many anthracite mine inspectors, and as many bituminous mine inspectors, as may now or hereafter be provided by law. All such mine inspectors shall be appointed, respectively, from among persons holding valid certificates of qualification issued by the Department of Environmental Resources.

The manner of appointing mine inspectors, their qualifications, and their terms of office, shall be as may now or hereafter be provided by law.
