Section 42.8 - Passing average; second examination

Every candidate for examination who obtains an average of not less than fifty-five per centum in any one subject and a general average of seventy-five per centum or more of a maximum of one hundred per centum in the examination shall be considered to have successfully passed the required examination. In case of failure at any examination, the candidate, within two years, may take a second examination without further application, upon payment of an additional fee as determined by the board by regulation.
