Section 42.21 - Licensed physicians not affected; sale or fitting of shoes or appliances

Nothing in this act contained shall be construed to interfere with, or affect, regularly licensed physicians in the discharge of their professional duties, and nothing herein contained shall be construed to prohibit or restrict the sale or fitting of shoes or commercial foot appliances. No retail merchant shall be permitted to practice podiatry medicine as provided for in this act, unless duly licensed to practice podiatric medicine.
