Section 734.22 - Hearing on charges(a) General rule.--If the applicant , licensee or registrant desires, the board shall grant a hearing upon the charges. The hearing may be held by the board or any member thereof or by any other person duly authorized by the board for such purpose in any particular case.(b)Report of hearing officer.--If the hearing is held by a member of the board or by a person authorized by the board, a written report of the hearing shall be made to the board.(c)Action on report of hearing officer.--The board may adopt the findings in the report or may, with or without additional testimony, either return the report for any further consideration the board deems necessary or make additional or other findings of fact on the basis of all the legally probative evidence in the record and enter its findings of fact and conclusions of law and order in accordance with the requirements for the issuance of an adjudication under 2 Pa.C.S.
