Section 281-5.1 - License renewal(a) An application for license renewal shall be published thirty (30) days before renewal in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality where the license is to be renewed.(b) The Secretary of Banking shall not issue a license or a license renewal for a period of at least five (5) years to any applicant who has been determined to be operating as a pawnbroker without a license.1937, April 6, P.L. 200, No. 51, § 5.1, added 1994, Dec. 28, P.L. 1402, No. 163, § 3, effective in 60 days.
