Section 412 - Penalties
(a) It shall be unlawful and subject to a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5000) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or both, for any person:
(1) To violate any provision of this act or any rule, regulation, or order of the commission.
(2) To commence operations for the drilling or deepening of a well for oil or gas without first obtaining a permit from the division under such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the commission.
(3) To make or cause to be made for the purpose of evading this act, or any rule, regulation or order of the commission, any false entry or statement in a report required by this act, or by any rule, regulation, or order of the commission; or to make or cause to be made any false entry to any record, account, or memorandum required by this act or by any such rule, regulation, or order; to remove from this Commonwealth or destroy, mutilate, alter, or falsify any such record, account, or memorandum.
(b) Any person knowingly aiding or abetting any other person in the violation of any provision of this act, or any rule, regulation, or order of the commission, shall be subject to the same punishment and penalty as that prescribed in this section 12 for the violation by such other person.
(c) Each day of violation after notification thereof by the commission shall constitute a separate offense.
