Section 372 - Conveyance of water property in Bay of Presque Isle

The Department of Forests and Waters, acting on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized to convey to the City of Erie the following described tract of land covered with water:

All that certain tract of land in the City and County of Erie, Pennsylvania, beginning at the northeast corner of a fifty acre tract, being known as Tract No. 27 in the Third Section of the town of Erie as finally laid out and sold; thence by the north line of fifty acre tracts numbering from Tract No. 27 through Tract No. 39, inclusive, following as nearly as may be the shore of the Bay of Presque Isle, South 63°10' West nine thousand two hundred sixty-six (9,266) feet to a post, the northwest corner of fifty acre Tract No. 39 and the northeast corner of Reserve Tract Number 5; thence North 27°15' West (it being the east line of Reserve Tract Number 5 produced) fourteen hundred (1,400) feet, more or less, to the United States Harbor Line extended; thence by the United States Harbor Line extended North 62°35' East nine thousand two hundred sixty-six (9,266) feet to a point in the United States Harbor Line; thence South 27°15' East seventeen hundred (1,700) feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, being the water property in the Bay of Presque Isle, in front, adjoining and north of the Third Section of the town of Erie as originally laid out.
