Section 58027.1 - Removal of diseased or dangerous trees

The shade tree commission may, by regulation and upon notice provided by ordinance, require owners of property to cut and remove trees afflicted with any disease which threatens to injure or destroy shade trees in the township. Upon failure of any owner to comply with the notice, the township may cause the work to be done by the township and assess and collect the cost against the owner of the property in accordance with section 3027.
