Section 57016 - Street connecting with street of another municipal corporation
(a) All streets partly within a township of the first class shall be laid out, opened, widened, straightened, altered, extended, vacated, improved, relocated or have grades established or reestablished pursuant to this article to the extent the street or portion of the street is within the township.
(b)
(1) The procedures applicable to any portion of the street outside the township shall be pursuant to the code applicable to the classification of the other municipal corporation with which the street is shared.
(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), no action may be taken under this article that would result in the change of location or grade or the vacation of a street or portion of the street that connects with a street of another municipal corporation without approval of the court of common pleas of the county in which the other municipal corporation is located, unless the municipal corporation first files with the township secretary the municipal corporation's approval of the proposed action.
