Section 56401.1 - Special fire police

The president of the board of commissioners may confirm any member of a volunteer fire company nominated to serve as special fire police under 35 Pa.C.S. Ch. 74 Subch. D (relating to special fire police). The president of the board of commissioners may swear in or affirm special fire police officers.
