Section 55902 - Duties and penalty(a) The secretary of a township shall:(1) Record the proceedings of the board of commissioners.(2) Preserve the minutes and other records and documents of the township and turn them over to the successor in office.(3) Record appropriations made by the board of commissioners and the amounts charged to each appropriation.(4) Perform other duties as required by law or the board of commissioners.(b) The township shall furnish the secretary with the necessary equipment and supplies as are necessary for the conduct of the office, which shall be and remain the property of the township.1931, June 24, P.L. 1206, art.
