Section 16845 - Fee for filing application, action thereon and issuance of license

That the board of wardens of and for the port of Philadelphia, shall have power to assess and collect from every applicant for a license to build or extend a wharf at any point within the tideway of the river Delaware or Schuylkill, for filing applications, examining the premises, and subsequent action of the board, any sum not exceeding ten dollars, and for granting, furnishing, and recording a license to build or extend a wharf, any sum not exceeding twenty-five dollars, to be paid to the master warden for the time being, which sums, together with all other revenue of the board, after paying expenses of collection, shall be appropriated by them as they shall deem most conductive to the best interests of the port of Philadelphia: Provided always, That the said board of wardens be fully authorized to determine and establish the compensation and fees of all the officers of the board who now are, or who may be hereafter appointed.
