Section 4547 - Record of business; registers of applicants; inspection

Every licensed person shall keep accurate records in the English language, in a form approved by the director of public safety, in which he shall enter or cause to be entered the name and address of every applicant to whom employment is promised or offered, the date of such application, the amount of the fee demanded, charged, or received, and, whenever possible, the name and address of former employers of persons to whom such applicant is known. In a separate register said licensed person shall enter or cause to be entered the name and address of every applicant to whom help is promised, the date of such application, the kind of help requested, the names of persons sent, with the designation of the one employed, the amount of the fee received, and the rate of wages agreed upon. The said records shall be open, during business hours, to inspection by the director of public safety, his deputy, or duly appointed inspectors, and it shall be unlawful for any person to make any false entry therein.
