Any individual, owner, operator, president, director, general manager, superintendent, or other person, in charge of, or having supervision over, any such anthracite coal mining operation, wilfully violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or undergo imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, at the discretion of the court.
