Section 690-402 - Diesel-powered equipment package(a) Approval.--All diesel-powered equipment shall be approved by the department as a complete diesel-powered equipment package which shall be subject to all of the requirements, standards and procedures set forth under this chapter.(b) Diesel engine approval.--Diesel engines shall be certified or approved, as applicable, by MSHA and maintained in accordance with MSHA certification or approval and approval by the department.2008, July 7, P.L. 654, No. 55, §402, effective in 180 days [ 1/5/2009].
