Section 744-908 - Appropriation from General Fund; expenses and establishment of stores, etc

The sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, for the two fiscal years ending the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five, for the payment of salaries, wages or other compensation of officers and employes, for the payment of postage, traveling expenses, mileage charges to the Department of Property and Supplies for the use of automobiles, telephone rentals, telephone toll charges, telegrams, expenses of operating and maintaining automobiles and other motor equipment, for the purchase of spirituous and vinous liquors, supplies, furniture, automobiles and equipment, for the payment of rentals for buildings and other accommodations, for the payment of the cost of printing, for the payment of the cost of granting liquor licenses to hotels, restaurants, clubs and public service companies, and for the payment of any other expenses whatsoever necessary for the proper conduct of the work of the board in administering and enforcing the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Act, including the establishment, operation, maintenance and equipment of Pennsylvania, Liquor Stores, and places for the storing and testing of liquor.
