The act of June 22, 1978 (P.L.491, No. 71), entitled "An act establishing the fees to be charged and collected by the clerk of courts in second, second class A, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth class counties and home rule counties," is repealed. Section 24(a) of the act of July 9, 1976 (P.L.586, No. 142), known as the "Judiciary Act of 1976," shall be applicable to the repeal of the act. Pending the fixing of fees under 42 Pa.C.S. § 1725 (relating to establishment of fees and charges) fees may be fixed hereafter in the manner provided by the former provisions of Act No. 1978-71.
