Section 910-55 - Investment plan

Any title insurance company subject to the provisions of this act is required to have a formal investment plan which shall be updated on an annual basis as authorized by the board of directors. The investment plan shall include, at a minimum, a description of the investment strategy of the company designed to provide for liquidity and diversity of the investment portfolio. The investment plan, and such other information as the Insurance Department may require in order to determine the impact of the investment plan on the solvency of the company, shall be made available to the Insurance Department during the course of a financial condition examination conducted in accordance with the laws pertaining to the conduct of examinations.
