Section 1739 - Road in Lackawanna County adopted as State highway

A certain section of public road, commencing at a point on Main Street in the borough of Archbald, Lackawanna County, at an intersection of Main Street and Wayne Street, thence eastwardly along said Wayne Street, thence in a northeasterly direction to a point on the road known as Salem Street, in said borough, east of the point where said road is crossed by the siding of the Archbald Coal Company, thence along said Salem Street or Salem Road to the village of Cortez, Jefferson Township, said county, shall be adopted by the Commonwealth as a State highway, and shall be constructed, improved and maintained at the sole expense of the Commonwealth under existing laws.
