Section 6029.108 - Criminal penalties(a) Penalty for first violation.--For the first violation, a person commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $1,000 per violation or be subject to imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both.(b) Additional penalty for subsequent violations.--For the second and any subsequent violations, a person commits a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $1,000 and not more than $5,000 per violation or be subject to imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.1996, Dec. 19, P.L. 1478, No. 190, §108, imd. effective.
