Section 6020.513 - Contracting(a) Authority.--The department shall have the authority to enter into a contract with any person or firm to have them provide assistance to the department for the implementation of this act.(b) Indemnification.--Any person who enters into a contract with the department to assist the department in implementing this chapter shall not be required to indemnify the Commonwealth or Commonwealth employees against claims arising out of performance of the contract. 1988 , Oct. 18, P.L. 756, No. 108, § 513, effective in 60 days.
