Section 1287 - Prohibited activitiesThe following activities are prohibited:
(1) The use of model rocket engines for pyrotechnic purposes or for the primary purpose of producing a spectacular display of color, sound, light or any combination thereof.(2) Tampering with or making use of a model rocket engine in any manner or degree which is contrary to the purpose for which such engine is designed and intended to be used, or contrary to the provisions of this act.(3) The ignition of any model rocket engine with such instantaneous and violent expansion of gas or relinquishment of energy as to cause rupture of the casing.(4) The launching, operating, discharging, flying or otherwise activating of a model rocket without first having fully complied with the foregoing provisions of this act.1970, July 8, P.L. 451, No. 155, § 7.
