Section 834 - Additional lands, purchase authorized

For the purpose of further perpetuating and preserving the place in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where, on August fifth and sixth, one thousand seven hundred and sixty-three, occurred the battle of Bushy Run, in which Colonel Henry Bouquet defeated the Indians in one of the most decisive engagements in American Colonial history, the Department of Forests and Waters, with the advice of the Bushy Run Battlefield Commission, is hereby authorized to purchase tracts of land adjoining the present Bushy Run Battlefield State Park, and especially the land where fifty soldiers killed in the said battle are buried, as well as other lands constituting the area on which the battle was waged.
