Section 820.160 - Repairs and construction(a) Road repairs.--Where township road repairs are needed, construction activities should be carried out within the existing rights-of-way to maintain vegetation and scenic qualities.(b) Construction.--Construction, reconstruction, repair or alterations due to safety or capacity considerations shall be consistent with safe highway geometric design and in accordance with the "Guidelines to Improve the Aesthetic Quality of Roads in Pennsylvania," dated June 1978, prepared jointly by the Department of Transportation and the Department of Environmental Resources.1992, Dec. 4, P.L. 767, No. 118, § 10, imd. effective.
