Section 2070.17a - Immunity from liability
(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person shall be subject to civil liability for filing a complaint or a report or for providing information to or cooperating with the department or the commission in the course of an investigation or proceeding conducted under this act.
(b) A school entity which provides information about the professional conduct of a former or current employe to a prospective employer of that employe is immune from civil liability for the disclosure of the information.
(c) This section shall not apply to malicious action by any person or school entity or the provision of false information ifthe person or school entity knew, or had reason to know, that the information was false.
