Section 5105.8 - Severability
(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the provisions of this act are severable, and if any part or provisions hereof, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this act or the application of such provision to any other person or circumstance, but shall be confined in its operation to the provision, person or circumstance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
(b) The provisions of section 5.1, which state that the bonds, notes or evidences of indebtedness of the agency shall not be deemed to constitute a debt of the Commonwealth or a pledge of the faith and credit or the taxing power of the Commonwealth are expressly made nonseverable.
