Section 10-1083 - Annexation and consolidation of districts

When any school district, having a district superintendent, is annexed to and becomes a part of another school district, the district superintendent therein shall become an assistant district superintendent in the district to which such school district is annexed, for the remainder of his term. When two school districts are consolidated as a result of the consolidation of two boroughs, then the district superintendent of the district having the larger public school enrollment shall become the district superintendent of the consolidated district. The superintendent representing the smaller school enrollment shall become assistant superintendent in the consolidated district.
