Section 6-675-A - Termination of receivership(a) Time.--Except as otherwise provided under subsection (b), a receivership granted under section 671-A shall expire three years after the initial appointment of the receiver under section 671-A. (b) Extension.-- (1) The secretary may petition the court of common pleas in the county in which the school district or the largest part in area of the school district is located for one or more extensions of the receivership. (2) The court shall grant each extension for another three years unless the court finds by clear and convincing evidence that the request for extension is arbitrary, capricious or wholly irrelevant to restoring the school district to financial stability.
