The county commissioners may issue bonds for the purpose of acquiring lands or buildings for fairgrounds, parks, parkways, bridle paths, horse show rings, foot paths, playgrounds, playfields, gymnasiums, public baths, swimming pools or indoor recreation centers, and for the equipment thereof.
