Section 5555 - Monuments and memorials to war veterans

The commissioners may appropriate money for and provide for the erection of monuments or memorials commemorating the services of any person who has served in the armed forces of the United States or in any women's organization officially connected therewith during any part of any war or armed conflict in which the United States has been or may hereafter be engaged.
