Section 5515 - Authority for constructing county buildings

Whenever the board of commissioners are authorized and required to erect a courthouse, jail or other county building, they shall submit the plans and specifications adopted by them to the court of common pleas for its approval. Upon approval, the county commissioners shall let the work by contract to the lowest responsible bidder, in accordance with the provisions of this act.
