The zoning commission is directed to make use of the expert advice and information which may be furnished by appropriate State and Federal officials, departments and agencies, particularly the Pennsylvania State Planning Board. All State officials, departments and agencies having information, maps and data pertinent to county zoning are hereby authorized and directed to make the same available for the use of the county zoning commission, as well as to furnish such other technical assistance and advice as they may have available for such purpose. The zoning commission may employ such trained personnel as the funds provided therefor may permit.
