Section 2165 - Care of persons referred by Department of Human Services

The county commissioners of counties of the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth classes shall have power to care for any dependent or other indigent person in the county who is referred to them by the Department of Human Services or by a local board under its supervision.
