Section 3702 - Limitations on backing(a) General rule.--No driver shall back a vehicle unless the movement can be made with safety and without interfering with other traffic and then only after yielding the right-of-way to moving traffic and pedestrians.(b) Limited access highways.--No driver shall back a vehicle upon any shoulder or roadway of any limited access highway. 1976, June 17, P.L. 162, No. 81, § 1, effective 7/1/1977.
