Section 3005 - Qualifications, appointment and compensation of director(a) General rule.--The director shall be an individual who is familiar with the principles and methods of personnel administration and the application of merit principles and scientific methods to public employment.(b) Appointment.--The director shall be appointed by the commission and serve at the pleasure of the commissioners.(c) Salary.--The director's salary shall be fixed by the commission with the approval of the Governor.
