Section 6514 - Relation to Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act(a) General rule.--Except as set forth in subsection (b), this chapter modifies, limits or supersedes the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act ( Public Law 106-229, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.).(b) Exceptions.--(1) This chapter does not modify, limit or supersede section 101(a) of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act ( 15 U.S.C. § 7001(a) ).(2) This chapter does not authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in section 103(b) of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act ( 15 U.S.C. § 7003(b) ). 2007, Dec. 18, P.L. 450, No. 68, § 1, effective in 60 days [2/19/2008].
