Section 144A01 - Appropriations to veterans' organizations(a) Annual appropriation.--Council may make annual appropriations to veterans' organizations to aid in defraying the following expenses:(1) Expenses relating to Memorial Day and Veterans Day.(2) Other expenses, such as payment of rent of any building or rooms where the organization has its regular meetings.(b) Requirements.--Payments shall be made to defray actual expenses only. Before any payment is made, the veterans' organization receiving the payment shall submit verified accounts of its expenditures.Added by P.L. TBD 2015 No. 67, § 1, eff. 1/23/2016.
