Section 14340 - Pension for employees other than police or city-paid firefighters(a) Nonmembers.--Cities may create a pension fund for employees who are not members of the police force or city-paid fire department and surviving spouses of retired members if council so elects and the families of employees that are injured or killed in service in the manner, under the conditions and subject to the qualifications set forth in this subchapter.Added by P.L.
