Section 830.230 - Sound signaling devices; rules(1) Each boat shall carry on board, in good and serviceable condition, sound signaling devices of a type required by the board by rule.(2) The board shall make rules for sound signaling devices in accordance with ORS chapter 183.(3) When the board makes rules under this section, it may consider sound signaling requirements and standards adopted by the United States Coast Guard.830.230 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to and made a part of ORS chapter 830 or any series therein by legislative action.
