ORS § 475A.516

The law enforcement officers of this state may enforce ORS 475A.210 to 475A.722 and assist the Oregon Health Authority in detecting violations of ORS 475A.210 to 475A.722 and apprehending offenders. A law enforcement officer who has notice, knowledge or reasonable ground of suspicion of a violation of ORS 475A.210 to 475A.722 shall immediately notify the district attorney who has jurisdiction over the violation and furnish the district attorney who has jurisdiction over the violation with names and addresses of any witnesses to the violation or other information related to the violation.
